She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care. Following dental school, Dr. Godwin completed a rigorous General Practice Residency at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. This prestigious hospital-based program provided her with advanced training in complex dental procedures. During this time, she had the honor of serving our nation’s veterans, an experience that strengthened both her clinical skills and her deep commitment to service. Dr. Godwin is known for her warm demeanor and gentle approach, making patients feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door. She believes in building lasting relationships and takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, ensuring that every treatment plan is personalized and compassionate.
