Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to introduce myself. I have been a general dentist in private dental practice for over ten years. I love to teach and have held a faculty position as Clinical Instructor with the Preventive and Restorative department of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine for over nine years. This has allowed me to develop a high level of competency and confidence in the art and science of dentistry. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Prior to that, I graduated from Albright College with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with the distinction of cum laude. Upon completing dental school I pursued a General Practice Residency at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers in New York. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Valley Forge and Chester-Delaware County Dental Association. I am also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry where I am currently pursuing a fellowship. These experiences enable me to treatment plan and restore complex cases involving esthetics, crown and bridge, implants, endodontics, removable prosthesis and operative dentistry. I am well trained in all aspects of general dentistry including pediatric dentistry, geriatric dentistry, conscious sedation, dentistry for the disabled and the medically compromised. I participate in a vast number of continuing education courses to continually improve as a practitioner. Our vision at Schwenksville Dental Care is to cultivate and retain satisfied, appreciative and prevention-oriented patients, in an environment that minimizes stress. We strive to be at the leading edge of dentistry by practicing the current evidence-based concepts. As a way of giving back to the community, I have participated in various voluntary dental camps both locally and overseas in Kenya, in an effort to provide much needed dental care to the less fortunate members of our society. I am a highly motivated person and love to meet and work with people. I reside in Chester County with my wife, Dr. Sweta Shah- Saini, who is a well-known practicing endodontist and my toddler son. I enjoy safari photography, cooking and traveling as well as simply spending time together as a family. I look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones here at Schwenksville Dental Care.
