A longtime Howard County resident, Dr. Paulomi Desai received her BA in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Goucher College. Dr. Desai earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1998 where she was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. She went on to complete her residency program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Desai believes lifelong learning is vital in allowing her to provide the most technologically advanced treatments for her patients. She consistently exceeds continuing education requirements, learning from leaders in her profession. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Central Maryland Implant Study Club, and an Associate Fellow in the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr. Desai volunteers at health fairs and has travelled to Medellin, Colombia to provide care for the less fortunate.
