Dr. R. Michael Johnson is a native of Columbia, SC who attended local public schools and graduated from A.C. Flora High School. Dr. Michael Johnson has been in private practice for 38 years helping the local residents with all aspects of oral hygiene and dental care. He has been married to his wife, Medora, for 47 years and, together, they have 7 grandchildren. Dr. Mike’s philosophy of dentistry is centered around preventative maintenance while also ensuring that his patients receive any necessary dental treatment enabling chewing efficiency, comfort, and pleasing aesthetics. He believes that the most important thing his patients can do for their teeth is to simply have them cleaned professionally at least twice a year.
