Dr Roy L. Faulks III

Dr. Roy L. Faulks III joined Columbia Periodontal Associates in 2025, and he is excited for the opportunity to serve patients in the greater Columbia area and beyond. Dr. Faulks specializes in traditional periodontal therapies, soft tissue augmentation, implant surgery, laser periodontal therapy, regenerative procedures and additional therapies. He credits his passion for periodontics to the opportunity it yields in building personal relationships with his patients and being in a position where he can genuinely help others each day. Dr. Faulks graduated from the University of South Carolina magna cum laude. He received his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, then went on to complete a general practice residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following his training in Alabama, he returned to the Medical University of South Carolina to complete his residency in periodontology, serving as chief resident.
