Dr. Gatten completed his periodontics residency at the VA Richard L. Roudebush Medical Center in Indianapolis. During his specialty training, he developed a strong passion for oral surgery through extensive hands-on experience with surgical procedures. He’s excited to bring his expertise and steady hand to our team, supporting patients with comprehensive surgical care. Before pursuing a career in dentistry, Dr. Gatten served for eight years as an aircraft operator in the U.S. Navy. A proud graduate of the University of Louisville, Dr. Gatten has a special interest in sedation dentistry, dental implant placement, and complex tooth extractions. He brings a compassionate approach and a deep commitment to clinical excellence.
