On March 11, 2002, we opened the doors of Seymour Family Dentistry (SFD) to serve the dental needs of the people of Seymour and surrounding communities. I take pride in creating smiles for a lifetime for you and your family. SFD's commitment to community also allows me to enjoy the best part of my job, which is participating in events such as Kids Fest, Mouthguard Mania, and Dental Health Month elementary school presentations. After graduating with distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1994, I served honorably in the US Navy for nearly ten years. I completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA in 1995. As a LCDR, I served as Division Officer aboard USS America (CV-66) and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), proudly earning the Navy Commendation Medal (2 awards) and the Navy Achievement Medal (3 awards). From 2001 to 2008, I was an Associate Professor of Operative Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry. I was blessed to have mentored hundreds of future dentists in both the pre-clinical technique lab and on the clinical floor.
