Dr. James Priftakis graduated from Stevens institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering in 2016 and Rutgers Dental School in 2020. He completed his residency as Chief Dental Resident in 2022 at NYU Langone Long Island. In his chief year, he expanded on his skills in root canals, implant placement and restoration, and full mouth rehabilitations. After residency, he began commuting each week to a remote area of New York to provide dental care to an underserved community with no access to dental care. While providing care in the remote community, he also started working part time in this practice in early 2022. We are pleased to now have Dr. James with us full time, in addition to Dr. Patti and Dr. Lavorata!
