Dr Kristal Skrmetta

Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dr. Skrmetta attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She then received her Master of Science in Biology from Purdue University in Indianapolis, IN, and then obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine with an emphasis on Public Health from the University of New England in Portland, ME. Dr. Skrmetta has been an active member of the Special Care Dentistry Association since 2017 and has a passion for working with patients with complex medical histories and special dental care needs. She has volunteered for the past four years at the Maine Special Olympics and hopes to stay actively involved in her new community. Dr. Skrmetta loves working with the whole family. She enjoys getting to know her patients personally and being able to help provide them with the highest quality of care. Dr. Skrmetta appreciates how much of a family everyone is at Perry Family Dental, and she aims to treat each of her patients as she would her own family. While not at the dental office, Dr. Skrmetta loves to get outside and stay active. After work, you may find Dr. Skrmetta boxing or learning Muay Thai at a local boxing gym, learning dances at a local studio, or outside hiking, walking, jogging, or biking. Dr. Skrmetta also loves to spend time with her family and friends, travel, go camping, cook, and experiment in the kitchen, and snuggle with her two sweet cats at home.
