Misty began her career in dentistry in 1998 in Virginia and began working for a cosmetic dentist right out of school. As a child, she feared the dental office and sensed her calling was to help others overcome their fears of going to the dentist. In 2000, Misty decided to move back to NH to be closer to her family. She began working for a local Dentist here in Concord. Misty quickly decided to continue her dental education at NHTI. She was one of the original members of the EFDA program and one of the first to graduate out of the state. Ultimately, Misty became the instructor of the same EFDA program she once was a student of! When asked how she felt about joining the GDC practice, Misty said "I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve next to some of the most amazing dentists and dental assistants at Generations Dental! I look forward to meeting all of our fantastic patients." What's an EFDA? (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) - a highly trained and skilled dental assistant who receives additional education that enables them to perform reversible intraoral procedures and additional tasks (expanded or extended duties), services, and capacities, which often includes direct patient care services!
