Mr Sharon E. Johnson

Dr. Johnson is a board certified periodontist and is committed to providing exceptional periodontal care and dental implants. Dr. Johnson treats each patient’s needs individually and takes the time to talk with her patients and put them at ease. Her goal is to make her patients comfortable by communicating treatment effectively so each patient fully understands the recommendations. Dr. Johnson has dedicated her professional life to dentistry and oral health. Upon graduation from Kimball Union Academy, Dr. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Northeastern University, while also earning a certificate in Advanced Dental Hygiene from The Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists. She was recognized for her excellence as a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha National Honor Society. After working as a dental hygienist, Dr. Johnson received her Dental Degree from The University of Pennsylvania. While at The University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Johnson completed research on pain control and management and was awarded several awards of distinction, including The Achievement Award in Pharmacology and Therapeutics and the American College of Prosthodontics Award. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania to earn her certificate in Periodontics. Dr. Johnson is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and served as President of the Lakes Region component of the New Hampshire Dental Society. She has repeatedly been chosen by her peers as a top periodontist for New Hampshire Magazine. A native of New Hampshire, Dr. Johnson lives locally with her husband Rick. They have two children, Nathaniel and Elizabeth. In addition to traveling to rinks across New England supporting her children in hockey, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time outdoors in the Lakes Region.
