Dr. Will Archer completed his dental education at Tufts School of Dental Medicine and spent his first years of practice as a general dentist in the US Air Force, stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. As an Air Force dentist he had the opportunity to work in a large clinic where he received mentorship from multiple specialists, and was also able to complete hundreds of hours of continuing education in subjects such as oral surgery, implants, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and endodontics. Dr. Will loves being able to work on all facets of dentistry, and the ability to see patients through their treatment, from disease to optimal health. Before embarking on his dental career, Will studied Mechanical Engineering at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO and upon graduation, went through the rigorous training pipeline to become a special operations combat rescue officer (CRO). In his position as a CRO, he deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan where he participated in rescue missions to aid US and Coalition military personnel as well as the local populace. Despite the rewarding nature of search and rescue, Will desired a career where he could continue to help others and have more stability and time at home. After meeting Amanda, a dental student at the time, he became interested in dentistry and was awarded a full scholarship with the USAF. Will currently serves part time as a dentist in the Vermont Air National Guard.
