Dr Prashansa Gautam

Dr. Prashansa Gautam is a compassionate and detail-oriented general dentist committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Originally from Nepal, she moved to the United States for her undergraduate education and stayed to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she received comprehensive training in restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, cosmetic, CAD/CAM, and digital dentistry. Dr. Gautam completed her General Practice Residency at the VA Boston Healthcare System, affiliated with Harvard School of Dental Medicine. During her residency, she provided care for medically complex patients and gained advanced experience in implant dentistry, surgical extractions, endodontics, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Her mission is to provide patient-centered care that prioritizes patient comfort and helps people achieve optimal oral health. She is actively pursuing her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. She regularly participates in continuing education courses to stay current with advances in digital dentistry, esthetics, and implant care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gautam enjoys exploring new restaurants, staying active, knitting, and caring for her plants and cat. She speaks English and Nepali and is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment for patients from all backgrounds.
