With over 30 years of experience, Dr John Crown brings skill, compassion, and a deep love for dentistry to every patient interaction. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He began his career serving families in Illinois before moving to Memphis in 2017. In 2019, he joined Higginbotham Family Dental and became a trusted member of our Memphis – Harbor Town team. Dr. Crown discovered his passion for dentistry early—he knew he wanted to be a dentist as far back as seventh grade. A neighbor who left for dental school inspired him and sparked a lifelong commitment to the field. While he enjoys every aspect of dentistry, he finds the greatest reward in helping patients regain confidence through smile transformations. Outside the office, Dr John Crown is a devoted husband to his wife, Melissa, and a proud father to six children: Jordan, Tyler, Elijah, Sam, Ariana, and Ava. His family brings him the greatest joy, and he values every moment they spend together. They attend Cross Pointe Christian Fellowship and enjoy traveling, golfing, exploring the outdoors, and bonding over shared traditions.
