After graduating from St. Mary’s University with a Biochemistry degree, Dr. Paz commenced his graduate training at Tufts University with a focus on Molecular Craniofacial Development-specifically craniofacial orthopedics. Dr. Paz later finished his clinical training at the University of Texas School of Dentistry-Houston. Dr. Paz has authored and lectured extensively across the United States on topics ranging from bone reconstruction and craniofacial development to evidence-based practice and obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Paz remains committed to excellent patient care by having served as adjunct faculty at the UT-Health School of Dentistry in San Antonio, helping train other dentists. Currently, he has an appointment at Texas A&M-Health, helping develop the Sleep Research Clinic. Dr. Paz is excited and passionate about sleep-disordered breathing and the dentist’s role in managing the airway. Currently, he serves on several committees for the AADSM along with Vice-Chair for the Dental Assembly- AASM. He maintains private practices around the state, limited to airway management and T.M.D. therapy; where thousands of patients have been managed. He is thrilled to join the practice of Dr. Anthony Gonzalez!
