Dr Alex Mayhan

I grew up in Omaha, NE and attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln for my undergraduate degree, and studied biology and psychology. I earned my dental degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2016. My path to dentistry started through experiences with my dentists, oral surgeons, and orthodontist that cared for me when I was growing up. I spent years in braces and had to have jaw surgery, so I was in the dental office a lot. For something that would have been traumatic for many, this was intriguing to me and sparked my interest in the field. I would not have been able to have such an experience if it weren’t for the compassionate and empathetic people that cared for me along the way. I have heard countless stories from my patients of the bad experiences that they have had in the past, which has prevented them from coming to the dentist and has created a life-long fear. My mission is to provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience and build long-lasting relationships with my patients, as well as delivering top-quality dental work. Outside of the dental office I enjoy traveling when I can, golfing, cooking and eating as much food as possible, and spending time with family and friends. I have been practicing in Plattsmouth since 2022 and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the community and people. I look forward to meeting more and more kind patients and continue to strengthen existing relationships.
