Dr. McConnell was born and raised in Paxton, Nebraska. He completed his associates degree in Dental Hygiene at Central Community College in Hastings and subsequently began his career in Dentistry in 2000. He loved the field and knew he wanted to further his education. Accordingly, he completed the remainder of his undergraduate education at UNL while continuing to practice as a hygienist. Dr. McConnell graduated from UNMC College of Dentistry in 2007. After Dental School, he completed a 1 year Oral Surgery Fellowship and served as Oral Surgery Faculty during his fellowship year. The next year, in 2008, he joined Midlands Dental Group. He practices with a focus on Oral Surgery, IV Sedation and implant dentistry. He truly loves his patients and being a dentist. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and exploring great food.
