As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Mark A. Marion values serving the Zelienople – Harmony community, keeping families healthy and smiling. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, he trained with his father, also a dentist and former Army military, while starting Marion Smile Center. Building on his family’s reputation for excellence, Dr. Marion created a modern practice dedicated to bringing the latest innovations in dental care to his patients. Dr. Marion stays at the forefront of cosmetic and restorative dentistry by actively engaging with the latest advancements and completing hundreds of hours of continuing education. Dr. Marion has been voted by his peers, other dentists and specialists from the Pittsburgh area, every year since 2011 and has appeared in Pittsburgh Magazine as a Top Dentist and as a Top Cosmetic Dentist. He was inducted a few years ago in the prestigious Crown Council organization and received a life-time achievement award. His memberships in professional organizations allow him to collaborate regularly with fellow dentists, sharing innovations that help create healthier, more beautiful smiles for his patients. Dr. Marion was honored to be invited to Florida to speak at his daughter’s (an orthodontist) dental school class. Since graduating, Dr. Marion has practiced in Zelienople-Harmony, his hometown, where his patients are also his neighbors and friends. As a dedicated member of the community, he focuses on doing good meaningful ways. Since 2016, the Marion Smile Center team has raised over $125,000 for local organizations, including the Zelienople/Harmony Fire Department, Food Bank, Library, Historical Society, and Parks and Pool. Each year, from March 1 to June 30, the practice donates 100% of proceeds from all teeth whitening treatments during their “Whiten for Charity” campaign. Dr. Marion is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast who enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberly. They have two children: Morgan, an orthodontist with multiple offices in the Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Florida area and Mason, an investment banker for a Manhattan, New York firm.
