Dr. Thomas Kopp earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1985 and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois-Chicago, College of Dentistry in 1989. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Kopp served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy for seven years including a tour of duty on the USS Samuel Gompers during Operation Desert Storm. In 1995, Dr. Kopp joined the Crystal Lake practice of Dr. Joseph Frazier providing dental care to patients throughout McHenry County. Dr. Kopp continues to advance his dental education by attending monthly meetings of the McHenry County Dental Society and yearly meetings of the Chicago Dental Society. He also participates in continuing education seminars throughout the year and is currently enrolled in Graduate Courses in Restorative Implant Dentistry. Dr. Kopp is a member of the American Dental Association , the Illinois State Dental Society , the Chicago Dental Society , and the McHenry County Dental Society . Dr. Kopp grew up in Schaumburg, Illinois and now resides in Crystal Lake with his wife, Karen, and their three children.
