Dr Josh Shayefar

Dr. Josh Shayefar was born and raised in Beverly Hills, California. He attended the University of Pennsylania School of Dental Medicine, finishing Summa Cum Laude and graduating with High Honors. He continued his Ivy League specialty training at Columbia University, completing a Certificate in Periodontology during his time. Dr. Josh Shayefar is a Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society, and the West Los Angeles Dental Society. He is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation as well as in Laser assisted periodontal procedures commonly known as LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure). He has been published in the critically acclaimed Compendium Dental Magazine and Explorer Dental Magazine. He also serves as a key opinion leader and consultant for world renowned dental products and materials. Lastly, he is the recipient of the 2020 Straumann Annual Meeting award.
