Dr Bill Whitley

Dr. Bill was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in East Dallas. He attended elementary, middle school, and high school in the Dallas Independent School District, and graduated in 1984 with honors from Skyline High School. In 1989, he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in economics, and in 1996, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from what was then Baylor College of Dentistry — now Texas A&M College of Dentistry — which makes Dr. Bill a DOUBLE Aggie! Dr. Bill credits his desire to become a dentist to Dr. Tom W. Watson, who was Dr. Bill’s dentist when he was a child. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Bill became an associate dentist in Dr. Tom’s office in Mesquite, where he practiced dentistry for 13 years. On August 5, 2009, Dr. Bill opened his state-of-the-art dental practice in Casa Linda Plaza in East Dallas (near White Rock Lake) and named the dental practice Whitley Family Dental. Dr. Bill’s dental practice incorporates the basic principles of oral healthcare with recent technological advances to provide general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bill is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society. He continues to seek opportunities to expand his knowledge of new dental techniques through continuing education classes.
