Dr Larry L Tilley

Dr. Tilley is the director of Calhoun Dental Associates. He graduated from the Medical College of GA (MCG) School of Dentistry where he remained as a full time faculty member and the director of auxiliary training. After practicing two years in Gainesville, GA he came to Calhoun in 1978 where he maintains the longest established dental practice in the county. Dr. Tilley is a confessed "continuing education junky" always keeping up with the latest techniques and procedures in all aspects of dental medicine. Since dental school he has always had a keen interest in dental occlusion, craniofacial pain, TMJ and all related subjects. His professional interests remain in continuing education, research and teaching. Other than serving as a full time faculty member at MCG he has also served as an assistant clinical professor in oral medicine at MCG as well as Emory University. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Highlands College where he taught anatomy and physiology. He is also a regular lecturer at several other schools both in the US and internationally. Dr. Tilley is a recognized authority in the application of physical medicine modalities and myofascial therapy for the treatment of head, neck, facial pain and temporomandibular disorders. He became a certified massage therapist and certified naturopath in order to better treat his patients. He has also served as the dental director of a large sleep center.
