Dr. Michael K. Pace was born in Nebraska and grew up in California, Denver, and Florida. He attended Emory University for 8 years, graduating with a BS in Biology in 1976 and a DDS degree in 1980. He completed a one-year general residency in the Army (1980-1981) and served as a Dentist in the Army in Germany for 3 years (1981-1984). He taught for one year in the crown and bridge department at Emory Dental School. From 1986 to 2021, he owned a private practice in Austell, GA, retiring in August 2021 and moving to Ellijay, GA. He started working part-time with Dr. Lykins in September 2023. He is married with 3 children and 7 grandchildren. His hobbies include coaching competitive soccer for 20 years, fishing, playing piano/organ, trivia, cooking, gardening, watching grandchildren play sports, and traveling.
