Dr. Pezzullo grew up in Cortlandt Manor, NY and got her bachelors degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University. She got her dental degree (DDS) from NYU College of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. Outside of treating the patients she loves at Gateway Dental, she is also a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Director of Community-based Programs at NYU College of Dentistry. She is heavily involved in engaging our students through first-hand community outreach programming and rotations in order provide access to care and shine light on the oral health disparities that exist in NYC and worldwide. Dr. Pezzullo is also the co-founder and now co-faculty mentor of NYU College of Dentistry Saturday Academy, a pipeline program with the two-fold mission of introducing underrepresented minority and low-income high school students to the dental profession as well as helping them navigate the college application process. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, especially her husband, whom she met in dental school and their son Lorenzo.
