Dr. Kim graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2015 with general honors, a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, and a minor in visual arts. He attended Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2021 before completing his general practice residency at Jersey City Medical Center. Dr. Kim has completed continuing education courses in opioid analgesic use in dentistry, remote communication with patients, dentistry and the elderly, implant placement, and dental hypersensitivity. He has also made it a priority to assist others around the globe with volunteer work. For example, he has helped people in Guatemala and Mexico with inadequate food, mentored underperforming students, tutored dental students in a pre-clinic setting, and helped screen for COVID-19 and distributed N95 masks and other PPE during the onset of the crisis.
