Dr. Dawna Kowalski graduated from Danvers High School, Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she completed a one year general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She takes many continuing education classes each year to learn the most modern techniques and philosophies. Dr. Dawna enjoys all aspects of dentistry: surgical implant dentistry, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, pediatric cases, dentures, simple restorations and crowns and bridges. She is certified as a Solea and Cerec Doctor. With the aid of our cone beam aided surgical guides, she is one of the few general dentists in the North Shore to place implants. Dr. Dawna is the 2019-2020 Chair of the North Shore District Dental Society, an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, and a member of the American Dental Association. She received the prestigious “10 under 10” award from the Massachusetts Dental Society for being one of the top 10 young dentists in the state. Dr. Dawna served on the Continuing Education Board for the Massachusetts Dental Society for many years. She is an active member of a Spear Study Club for continuing education in dentistry. She lives in Boston and is excited to be in Massachusetts working with her father!
