Dr Cherie Atkins

Dr. Atkins graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry and completed her residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital/Saint Luke’s Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She has been practicing for over 18 years, dedicating part of that time teaching dental students at Howard University as well as working in private practice. Dr. Atkins has been recognized for generous acts of service and for providing full-time dental care and education in rural Kenya for the Maasai tribe. She has been awarded Best Dentist and winner of Smile Transformation Best of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as being listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who. Being able to provide both preventive and esthetic treatment for her patients is especially gratifying for Dr. Atkins. “Not only can I help prevent oral systemic infections, I can also help my patients achieve the smile of their dreams.” Dr. Atkins has been certified as a master injector, using Botox and Dermal fillers to enhance facial esthetics. “There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping patients achieve a more balanced, confident smile by addressing issues like gummy smiles, fine lines, and jaw tension.” In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the beautiful Georgia mountains and yoga.
