Dr Elisha Buckley

Dr. Elisha Buckley is a special kind of dentist. With her gentle, friendly, and caring style, she brings comfort to her patients and enjoys getting to know each patient on an individual basis. A native of Georgia, Dr. Buckley was raised in this community and graduated from Druid Hills High School. She attended The University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. After graduating, she worked for Kimberly-Clark in Roswell, GA for 10 yrs. Having the desire to pursue a new profession that would allow her to be of service, she headed back to college and obtained a Doctoral degree in Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center located in Memphis, TN, one of the nation’s most prestigious dental schools. Her return to this area to practice dentistry was a promise she made to herself and her parents. Through her comprehensive evaluations, Dr. Buckley ensures that each patient’s dental treatment is good not only for their teeth but is in line with the daily mantra at East Lake Family Dental of, “Helping you love your smile” . Each year Dr. Buckley continues to attend extensive post-doctoral studies in clinical dentistry, enabling her to provide some of the latest advances in dental technology. She also participates in organized dentistry to stay abreast of dentistry and societal trends that impact teeth and have an effect on the entire body. She is a member of Dental Study clubs and several dental organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA) and Georgia Dental Association (GDA). In her free time, Dr. Buckley loves to go to sporting events, exercise, and spend time with family.
