Dr J Rafael Porras

Dr. Rafael Porras is a highly skilled periodontist and dental implant specialist based in South Florida. Originally from San José, Costa Rica, Dr. Porras frequently visited relatives in Miami during his childhood, which ultimately led to his decision to establish his practice in Florida. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Costa Rica before advancing his education in the United States. Dr. Porras completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, followed by a one-year Fellowship in General Dentistry at the same institution. He then went on to complete a three-year Specialty Certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry along with a Master of Science in Dentistry at Louisiana State University. Dr. Porras is committed to delivering exceptional care in periodontics and implant dentistry, utilizing the latest techniques and technologies in a comfortable, stress-free environment.
