Dr. Woody was born and raised in California on a small farm as part of a large, loving family. Throughout his childhood, he frequently visited his grandparents in Colorado Springs, where he developed a deep appreciation for the Rocky Mountains, the culture, and the people of Colorado. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at California State University, Fullerton, and spent a year studying abroad at the University of Hull in northern England. During this time, he also partnered with International Student Volunteers, dedicating a summer to community development and sea turtle research in Costa Rica. Dr. Woody earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he remained active in community outreach. Through a global service program, he provided dental care to the residents of Bluefields, Nicaragua. He furthered his training through a hospital-based residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, focusing on oral rehabilitation for patients with disabilities. His residency also provided advanced experience in endodontics, implant dentistry, and pediatric dentistry. Following his residency, Dr. Woody practiced in private practice in midtown Manhattan, where he continued to expand his skills and developed a strong passion for restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Outside the office, Dr. Woody loves embracing the outdoors—snowboarding, skiing, hiking, wakeboarding, and playing beach volleyball. He is also an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures. Dr. Woody is incredibly grateful for the friends and family who supported his journey and is proud to fulfill his dream of opening Woody Dental in Denver, Colorado.
