Dr. Daniel Van Volkenburgh is the captain of our ship. He received his Bachelor’s in Literature from Boston College and continued on to receive his Doctorate from Northwestern University. He opened our current office in 2010 and has worked tirelessly to make the office what it is today. Dr. Dan loves the challenge of meeting new patients and providing treatment in a way that makes them feel comfortable and empowered. He firmly believes that a dentist should be judged by how they handle less than ideal situations. His ideal outcome is when a patient says to him “That’s it? That didn’t hurt at all”. Dr. Dan loves gardening and has a passion for farm to table cuisine. In his free time he enjoys working on cars and spending time with his wife Rebecca, three children, and four dogs. Dr. Dan also loves all things music which lead to the decision to rename the office to Rhythm Dental.
