Dr. Douglas Kitchin grew up in Morris County, where he attended Roxbury High School. He earned his B.S. in Biology from James Madison University in Virginia. He continued his studies at the Medical College of Virginia, where he earned a Masters Degree through the Pre-Health Professional Program. He continued his rigorous study path at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry, obtaining his degree in dental surgery. Additionally, he received hands-on educational experience in advanced dental procedures at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Kitchin is experienced in providing implant restorations, root canal therapy, extractions and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kitchin has participated in several dental service trips worldwide. Additionally, he was the Pre-Dental President at James Madison University and is active in the alumni association at the VCU School of Dentistry. Dr. Kitchin and his wife, Alexa, have three children (Addison, Mackenzie and Casey) and a dog (Tex). He spends most of his free time with his family, but also enjoys mountain biking, trail running, skiing and sailing.
