Dr. John Hyson IV is a fourth-generation dentist who grew up spending time in both his father’s and grandfather’s dental offices. Witnessing the strong, trusting relationships they built with their patients, he knew early on that he wanted to create the same meaningful connections in his own practice. During his senior year, Dr. Hyson was selected for the prestigious Special Care & Geriatrics Clerkship, where his expertise in treating special needs and geriatric patients earned him the Special Care award. When not helping patients achieve their best smiles, Dr. Hyson enjoys giving back through charitable dental missions that provide essential care to underserved communities. While on a mission trip to Kibosho, Tanzania, he fulfilled a lifelong goal of climbing to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. His compassion extends beyond dentistry, as he is passionate about rescuing animals and dreams of giving every pet in need a loving home.
