Being a Dentist is a great privilege for Dr. Eric, who earned his Doctorate from the University of Iowa in 2003, and in 2011 opened the doors to Altoona Smiles’ initial location off of 8th Street. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Eric enjoys the variety that comes with helping people Smile! Professionally Dr. Eric has completed certifications with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and Invisalign, is an active member of the American Dental Association and Iowa chapter, and is a self described dental nerd and lover of Dad jokes. He also spent over a decade teaching as an adjunct professor for the Univ. of Iowa College of Dentistry.
