Dr. Stella Petroff-Heersink grew up in Springfield, Ohio, and earned her BA in biochemistry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She then pursued her passion for dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) and served as both Student Body President and ASDA chapter President. Following her education, Dr. Petroff-Heersink began her dental career in Columbus, Ohio, practicing there for one year before moving to Philadelphia, PA, where she continued her career for three years at Society Hill Family Dentistry. Dr. Petroff-Heersink is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Alabama Dental Association. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care, focusing on creating a calming and enjoyable environment for her patients. Her clinical skills include preventative and restorative dentistry, pediatric and adult dentistry, crowns, bridges, and veneers, as well as basic oral surgery, implant restoration, and removable prosthodontics. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Petroff-Heersink enjoys sewing, DIY projects, staying active, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is married to Dr. Marius Heersink, MD, and together they are excited to move to Dothan and establish their roots in the Wiregrass Area.
