Meet Gerardo Mercado, DDS. Our goal is to eliminate the need for future dental work for our patients through regular cleanings and exams. Our purpose comes from the fact that healthier teeth and gums have been shown to be related to improving outcomes of other diseases and improving overall health, in general. If we help our patients live longer, healthier lives then we all win, including the friends and family of our patients. The benefits for all involved are potentially limitless. People with healthy teeth and gums live longer, healthier lives and it gives me great pleasure improving and helping others lives. Seeing patients eyes light up when the truly 'get it' is exhilarating. Frankly, the fulfillment of my duties as a dentist and seeing the positive effects it creates in others makes my career as a dentist not a job, but more of passion that feeds my soul. You would be hard pressed to find another dentist who cares more about the health and treatment outcomes for his patients. I was raised to work hard, tell the truth and be thankful for the life we have. When I develop a treatment plan to help a patient, I do so as if the treatment would be going into my mouth or the mouth of one of my family members. There is no doubt in my mind that my patient is getting the best treatment for them.
