Matt Scurria is a long-time member of the Columbus community, attending Saint Charles Preparatory High School where he was a part of the National Honor Society, as well as a 3-year lacrosse and 2-year soccer letterman. Matt went on to attend Miami University, graduating with honors in 2011. After graduating college, Matt returned back to his roots in Dublin, Ohio and continued his education by attending The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Matt graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2015. With Matt’s unique military background, educational expertise and extensive volunteer experience with The Care Clinic and Missions of Mercy, we believe he will serve well as an outstanding addition to our practice. Matt is passionate about dentistry and is looking forward to his continued education in the field. Dr. Matt has completed additional training in clear orthodontic aligners and is very interested in helping to create the straighter smile you desire. In June of 2015, Matt attended Commissioned Officer Training at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. He completed his first Active Duty tour as a general dentist at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He then attended a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and graduated as the top resident. In 2017, Matt attended Squadron Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama and was selected the 43rd Medical Squadron Outstanding Company Grade Officer of the Year at Pope AAF, North Carolina.
