Dr Yiching Jeanie Wu

Dr. Yiching Jeanie Wu was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to the United States at the age of 20 to continue her education. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. In 2014, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Wu enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including crowns, bridges, extractions, root canal therapy, and dentures. She finds great fulfillment in forming long-term relationships with patients of all ages—from toddlers to seniors. Known for her gentle touch and attentive care, she values the trust her patients place in her and believes that strong communication is the foundation of personalized, effective treatment. Her goal is always to help each patient feel at ease and leave with a brighter, healthier smile. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wu has a lifelong passion for art and music. She enjoys creating with her hands, especially through origami, sewing, and crafting plush animals. She has played the pipa, a traditional Chinese plucked string instrument, since the age of nine and spent nearly a decade performing in a Chinese orchestra before moving to the U.S. More recently, she has been learning to play the ukulele. Dr. Wu and her family love living in Georgia, where they can spend more time in the mountains and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. She also maintains an active lifestyle through BodyCombat, Zumba, and weightlifting. Despite her dedication to health and fitness, she has a soft spot for sweets—especially chocolate and a wide variety of Asian desserts. Growing up in a multilingual environment, Dr. Wu is fluent in Mandarin and English, understands most Taiwanese, and is currently learning Spanish and Thai. She also has some knowledge of Japanese. Her cultural awareness and language skills allow her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and make them feel welcome and understood.
