Dr Hilger

Originally pursuing a science degree, Dr. Hilger became interested in dentistry after friends who were dental students encouraged him to see what they were doing. Around that same time he had the opportunity to talk to one of the oral surgery faculty about the attributes of the dental profession and the joys of patient care. Nearly 25 years of practicing later, the rest is history! Dr. Hilger approaches each patient as an individual and sees himself as the guide for achieving good oral health, understanding that even if two patients have the same dental needs, it doesn’t mean they need the same treatment. He believes the most fulfilling part of his job is teaching patients that dental care is not as scary or difficult as they fear it may be, and following it up with a good experience. He has also enjoyed sharing decades of time with coworkers that are truly as dedicated to serving and helping others as he is. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys a good movie and traveling with family to see new places and experience new things.
