Dr. James Mashni is a Michigan-born general dentist who is deeply rooted in the East Lansing community. He grew up in Mason, Michigan, and now proudly lives and practices in East Lansing, where he is committed to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care to patients and families across the region. Dr. Mashni earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and completed his undergraduate education at Michigan State University, where he studied Nutritional Sciences and Human Biology. His academic background strongly influences his approach to dentistry, emphasizing the connection between oral health, nutrition, and overall systemic wellness. A graduate of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Dr. Mashni is dedicated to evidence-based dentistry and lifelong learning. His advanced training allows him to stay at the forefront of modern dental research, diagnostics, and protocols—ensuring that every treatment recommendation is grounded in the best available science and tailored to each patient’s individual risk factors and goals.
