Dr. Connelly graduated from Wayne State University in 1979 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. The next 4 years he worked as a pharmacist as he attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 1983. St. Johns became his home in 1984. After completing over 1100 hours of continuing education in all facets of general dentistry and passing a rigorous 400 question exam, he was awarded Mastership in 2006, an honor less than 2% of general dentists attain. Interested in pharmacology and the beneficial effects it has for his patients, Dr. Connelly attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2002 for IV sedation training.
