Dr. Alvarado was born in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his graduate study at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Beginning his practice in 2001, Dr. Alvarado and the Lakes Family Dental have continued his tradition of dental excellence by proudly serving the greater McAllen and Edinburg area since July of 2001. Dr. Alvarado holds the 2019, 2020 and 2021 BBB Mary G. Moad Ethics Award. He is also the only Platinum Invisalign Provider in the region. He is passionate about both youth and community organization; he currently serves as a sponsor for the RGV Snake Charmers for the Professional Vipers NBA-G league team. Dr. Alvarado has also donated custom athletic mouth guards for the football programs of several valley high schools. He resides in Edinburg Texas with his wife Erika and has two sons Ryan and Andrew.
