Dr. Madsen grew up in Bergen County New Jersey. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1984. He went on to dental school at UMDNJ, New Jersey Dental School in Newark New Jersey where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1989. Dr. Madsen furthered his education in dentistry by completing a post-doctoral program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at The New Jersey Dental School in 1990. Dr. Madsen also maintains staff privileges at Jersey Shore University Medical Center since 2000 where he teaches the General Practice residents.
