Dr. Danner is a native Oklahoman born and raised in Warr Acres. He attended Putnam City Schools and graduated from “the original” Putnam City High School in 1982. After attending the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Danner was accepted into the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 1990. After graduating from dental school in 1994, Dr. Danner was accepted into the General Practice Residency at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma. In 1995, Dr. Danner was offered a second-year residency position as Chief Resident at the VA Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma. The focus of his first year of residency was dentistry for children and adults, with an emphasis on medically compromised patients and advanced dental procedures. The second year was a continuation of advanced procedures, including placement and restoration of dental implants. After completion of his residency in 1996, Dr. Danner established a private practice in northwest Oklahoma City. During this time of building clientele, Dr. Danner worked part-time, attending to the dental residents of the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, and was a clinical instructor in the operative and oral diagnosis clinics at the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry. Dr. Danner taught at the dental school part-time for the next seven years. Dr. Danner built his current state-of-the-art facility in 2001 and continues to grow his practice one patient at a time. Dr. Danner exceeds the required minimum in continuing education every year by taking mastery-level courses in functional occlusion and aesthetic dentistry. He has completed numerous courses from the Dawson Academy, the Seattle Institute of Advanced Education, and, more recently, the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
