Dr. Proud hails from Northern Alberta, Canada. He enjoys providing comfortable dental care that makes people change their view of dental visits. Dr. Proud is married and has two amazing boys that always keep him busy! Dr. Proud knew when he first chose the profession of dentistry that he would have a job where most people would not be happy to see him, some may even dread it. His personal goal with every patient is to have a positive experience at the dentist and that over time, they will enjoy coming to the dentist. He believes having a painless visit at the dentist is great place to start. Loma Linda University School of Dentistry’s motto is – Service is Our Calling – and Dr. Proud tries to live up to that on both a local and international level. He has enjoyed participating in the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy as it gave him an opportunity to serve his fellow Oklahomans. He has also had the privilege of going to Guatemala and Peru in the past and looks forward to many future dental trips to areas of need. When Dr. Proud is not in the office he enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, including training to be a triathlete/marathoner. He and his wife also enjoy taking an active role in their local church ministries.
