Dr. Tara Stanford received her undergrad from the Oklahoma State University and graduated from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Stanford has wanted to be a dentist since she was a little kid at the dentist herself, so much so that when she got older she began shadowing her old pediatric dentist. She and her husband both grew up in the Oklahoma City Metro, and love nothing more than spending time with their kids and dogs. My favorite thing about dentistry is being able to turn a patient’s bad experience whether it was as a child or just with a previous dentist and change their outlook on our profession. I love having patient’s realize that what we do doesn’t have to hurt or be scary and it can actually be enjoyable.
