Dr. Michiko Huang is from Tokyo, Japan. She received her DDS from Nihon University. She decided to leave Japan to learn advanced Dentistry and completed her specialty in Prosthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She specializes in crowns, veneers, bridges, dentures, and implants. After completing her residency in Prosthodontics, Dr. Huang completed her Maxillofacial Prosthodontic residency at UAB. There she saw many patients who had head or neck cancer or trauma. Dr. Huang is able to make protheses for these patients in order to improve their quality of life. Following Dr. Huang's extensive training, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the UAB dental school for many years. She also worked in private practice in Washington D.C for 3 years.
