Dr. Richard Prouse completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Southern California before attending dental school at Northwestern University, from which he graduated in 1983 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Following dental school Dr. Prouse completed a two year residency in hospital dentistry, children’s dentistry and emergency dentistry at UCLA while receiving a masters degree in public health (MPH). Dr. Prouse continues to complete at least 50 units of continuing education every two years in order to stay at the forefront of the dental field. He has practiced in the El Cajon area for over 38 years. Dr. Prouse is a member of several professional organizations, including: American Dental Association® California Dental Association San Diego County Dental Association Association of Sports Dentistry. As a dentist, Dr. Prouse is committed to providing the highest quality of care for his patients in the most comfortable, friendly environment possible.
