Sami Kashou, DDS, serves as the head dentist for Avocado Family Dentistry. As a San Diego native, Dr. Kashou received his undergraduate degree at the University of California. Once he received his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Kashou moved over to Wisconsin to enroll at the Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Kashou was honored to be recognized as the Chief Resident Dentist in Marquette during his residency in Nashville, Tennessee. After he received his certification, Dr. Kashou moved back to his hometown. Dr. Kashou is an active member of the California dental community through his involvement with the: American Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Kashou also served in UCSD’s free dental clinic which continues to help strengthen our community. In his free time, Dr. Kashou loves spending time with his wife Hadil, and hitting up the golf range.
