Dr. Jon Nickelsen has been practising dentistry for more than 13 years. He established Nickelsen Family Dental on the west side of Elgin where he was raised and where his father, Dr. Dale Nickelsen, practised dentistry for more than 40 years. He volunteers his time to advance education in dentistry, serving as trustee for the Illinois State Dental Society, past president of the Fox Valley Dental Society, and member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society and Elgin Dental Study Club. Awards include the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Research Award and the William J. Greek Memorial Leadership Award.
